Requirements to Become a CNA in Illinois
The first step to becoming a CNA in Illinois is completing a state-approved CNA training program. Additionally, your training should consist of classroom lectures and clinical experiences.
Another requirement to becoming a CNA in Illinois is passing the state's Nurse Aide Competency Exam. This is a two-part test that you must pass to be eligible for certification in the state.
